Stata 14 Installation For Mac
Hello, I am having a problem opening my regression tables in Microsoft Word when using the outreg2 command in Stata 14.2 on MacOSX. My outreg2 is up-to-date. My commands are the following:. areg d.prodwaggap d.outputgap d.l.lncapitalph i.year, cluster(id) a(id) (table appears here) outreg2 using myreg.doc, replace ctitle(Model 1) myreg.doc dir: seeout (when I click on myreg.doxc, this is what shows up: ).
Shellout using `'myreg.doc' shellout probably will not work with MacOSX /bin/bash: myreg.doc: command not found. My problem is that I am unable to open the file in word format.

Microsoft Word says that the file cannot be opened because 'there are problems with the contents or the file name might contain invalid characters (for example, /)' and that 'the file is corrupt and cannot be opened'. It basically says that the 'contents are unreadable'. I can open it on.xls and.rtf formats, but it does not show as a table. Has anyone ever faced a similar issue and could help me out, please?
I have already tried changing the directory but it did not lead to anything. Thank you in advance for your help!
